Once there was a little girl nicknamed orange peel. She was born in China but now lives in the USA.
Her kindergarten is learning all about China, so  Orange Peel sets out into her neighbourhood to learn more about the questions she can’t quite answer. 
We meet Mr Fan the tailor, Ma Sang the poet, Mrs Lui the florist and pop in to Mr Yu’s noodle shop.
 
Each character has a story to contribute to the weaving of an impression of Orange Peel’s home country, and a kind surprise slipped quietly into Orange Peel’s pocket that draws the whole adventure together at the close.
 
A charming story written by Rose Lewis and richly illustrated by Grace Zong.
