Mobiles are a traditional craft in Denmark. The modern mobile was created by Christian Flensted and his wife Grethe in 1954. Christian and Grethe’s son Ole and his wife Aase continue the tradition.
Some of their designs remain the same, but others have evolved in the “Department of Space Research” into captivating, whimsical shapes whose mischievous movement is captivating for babies, children and adults alike.
