A lovely book from a great writer!

This is a fantastic book. My 2 year old and I have become great fans of John Burningham's style in the last six months, and this is one of his best. He has a way of telling a story through children's voices that allows the reader to see the world through their eyes. The illustrations in his books often show the child's imaginary world, which is the same here. The 'baby' could grow up to be a chef, an artist, a doctor...each with it's own little story shown in pictures. I'm so glad I purchased this book!
